Decorative arts lecturer, consultant and appraiser Louise Devenish will conduct a seminar
sponsored by Baker and CINOA during the Merchandise Mart International Antiques Fair
in Chicago. Devenish will speak to the changing tastes in furniture for the 21st century
home, including classical antiques as well as contemporary designs, and will conclude
with relevant tips and other criteria for collecting in today’s marketplace. The speaker will
explore different style periods and various countries of origin, highlighting specific examples
that can be found at The Fair.
